Jodi Arias: Death penalty would be 'revenge,' not justice
Wed May 22, 2013
Personally, I prefer the Chinese method of execution. The criminal is made to kneel in their cell, and killed with a single shot to the back of the head. And, the family of the criminal is made to pay for the bullet. Sounds like justice to me.
Big Brother may not be watching, but your employer probably is
Thu May 16, 2013
There's nothing new here. Employers have been monitoring workplace computer use for years. In every job I've ever had since the advent of the LAN, there's a box that pops up when you first power on your PC in the morning (which most people ignore). It clearly states that by accessing the company's s …
'Robin Hoods' who feed parking meters are hit with lawsuit in New Hampshire
Wed May 15, 2013
I have no problem with what this group is doing, in fact it's commendable. What I take issue with, though, is their need to harass the parking enforcement people while doing it. There's no need for that, those people are just doing their jobs. Just look at the quote from their leader: "He also noted …
Mom survey says: Three is the most stressful number of kids
Sat May 4, 2013
If you read this article closely, it appears the major source of stress with these parents is their desire to be "perfect". Well, it seems there's a simple solution to that: Stop it! My wife and I had both had the same parenting "philosophy". Do the best you can, and let the chips fall where they ma …
Today's teens more materialistic, less likely to work hard, study says
Thu May 2, 2013
To blame the entire baby boomer generation as a whole is nonsense. There were two distinct parts of that group. The early part, 1945 to say '55, then 1956-64. I'm part of the first group (born in '53). We were taught from the beginning we had to earn what we wanted. My parents made it clear, if I wa …
Cruz '16? Texas senator's path might not be so easy
Wed May 1, 2013
This is hysterical. For the last 5 years and more, the birther movement has accused President Obama of being unqualified to be President because, according to them, he was born in a foreign country to an American citizen and a non-citizen. Now, someone in the exact same situation wants to run as a G …
Breast-pumping mom 'felt humiliated' by flight attendant

In reply to: outraged-1701807 #6.1 Don't respond to idiot trolls like this asswipe. It only encourages their stupidity.
Teens enter vocational school, come out with jobs, no debt
Fri Apr 26, 2013
I couldn't agree more with this article. Not everyone needs, or should want to go to college. A lot of the negative attitudes about trade schools comes from the educational system itself. Years ago, my younger brother wanted to enroll in vocational training in HS. He was discouraged from doing so by …
'America took my kids away': Mother of Boston suspects insists sons not responsible
Thu Apr 25, 2013
Are we sure this idiot's not from Egypt? She sure sounds like the Queen of De-Nile.
Americans head north for affordable college degrees
Wed Apr 24, 2013
There are ways to get a college education without selling your soul to the god of student loans. Attend a junior college/community college for the first 2 years, where the tuition is a 1/4 of what a 4 year school charges, then transfer. You'll get the same degree as someone that attended for 4 years …
